Clean Fuel Production Credit
Homeland will be offering a low-carbon-intensity (CI) corn feedstock program in connection with the Section 45Z Clean Fuel Production Credit. Participation requires completion of several steps, with thorough documentation maintained throughout the process. Premiums will be paid on a per-bushel basis according to each field or management unit’s CI score. Below is information that will be needed to complete the USDA Feedstock Carbon Intensity Calculator (FD-CIC).

Required Information
- Farm location
- Crop produced
- Field or management unit acreage
- Actual yield at 15.5% moisture (Same as crop insurance)
- Expected yield based on crop insurance Actual Production History (APH)
- Total synthetic nitrogen applied per acre
- Percentage of synthetic nitrogen applied with a nitrification inhibitor
- Quantity of manure applied and the corresponding manure analysis
- Use of no-till or reduced-till practices, as applicable to the USDA T-DISC calculator
- Use of cover crops
